As a Shift Manager, you’ll be the go-to leader during your shift, ensuring seamless service delivery across our diverse contracts – including Call Handling, Custody Healthcare, SARC, Home Visiting and Integrated Urgent Care. You’ll play a vital role in maintaining clinical and operational excellence, keeping our teams supported and our services running efficiently, 24/7.

Location: Segensworth West, Hampshire

Operating Hours: 24/7 operation – shift-based (Current pattern: 2 on, 6 off, includes weekends and public holidays)

Working Hours: 20 – 24 hours per week

Reports To: Operations Manager – IUC/CAS

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take charge of day-to-day operations as the senior decision-maker on shift
  • Lead a team of clinical and non-clinical staff with professionalism and compassion
  • Monitor and manage real-time service performance against key targets
  • Coach, support, and supervise staff, conducting audits, appraisals, and investigations
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety, safeguarding, and GDPR regulations
  • Work closely with the Operations Manager and senior leadership on continuous service improvement
  • Keep accurate records and assist in protocol updates and staff training

Essential:

  • Proven leadership experience in a call centre or healthcare environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Confident decision-maker with sound judgment under pressure
  • Ability to manage multiple services and competing priorities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office

Desirable:

  • Knowledge of healthcare or social care frameworks
  • Experience in stakeholder engagement and conflict resolution
