Partnering Health Group (PHL) are looking for 3 x Receptionists to work at Dudley Urgent Treatment Centre. We are an experienced integrated urgent healthcare organisation responsible for providing a variety of health care services. As a key member of the team at PHL, your role is very important as the first point of contact for our patients. A kind and empathetic person, you will be expected to take control and be accountable for the given situation, treating every patient with respect and providing confidence in our ability to deliver a great and caring service. We are looking for a reliable, friendly and flexible person to join the team.

Positions available (3):

  • 1 x Permanent Contract @ 18 hours per week – Saturdays and Sundays 3pm until 12am
  • 1 x Permanent Contract @ 21 hours per week (Nights) – Thursdays and Sundays 8:30pm until 7am
  • 1 x Bank Contract

Receptionist Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Monitor the electronic booking system and liaise with Reception Supervisor/Service Delivery Manager with any workload concerns
  • Book patients in on arrival
  • Ensure medical equipment and drug boxes are appropriately logged and returned to stock cupboard
  • Perform Receptionist duties as required by the Reception Supervisor/Service Delivery Manager and to ensure efficient systems are in place for the maintenance of all records in accordance with Statutory and Company procedures

Receptionist Skills and Experience:

  • Relevant Reception / Customer Service or administration experience
  • Must be confident, multitask, work independently without supervision
  • Sensitivity and empathy with people from different backgrounds
  • Ability to communicate effectively and demonstrate empathy when dealing with patients and multidisciplinary team
  • Ability to use Microsoft office or other databases
  • Previous experience of Adastra would be desirable but not essential

As an integral team member, you will efficiently manage patient and customer interactions, keeping them informed to the progress and liaising with your duty team leader as appropriate to ensure a seamless and first-class service is delivered.
