PHL Group is looking for a motivated and organised Patient Service Coordinator to join our Community Dermatology team. Working closely with the Patient Service Centre Manager, you’ll support the day-to-day coordination of our Patient Service Centre, ensuring patients receive a professional, efficient and high-quality service. You’ll help coordinate clinics, support the administration team and contribute to the smooth running of our services.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Patient Service Centre Manager with the day-to-day coordination of the administration team.
- Provide a high-quality administrative service for patients, clinicians and healthcare professionals.
- Coordinate clinician availability, clinic schedules and room bookings.
- Monitor referrals, waiting lists and appointment worklists to ensure timely patient booking.
- Process referrals and maintain accurate patient records using SystmOne and other patient administration systems.
- Respond to telephone and email enquiries professionally and efficiently.
- Support the training and development of team members.
- Assist with service improvements and help ensure contractual KPIs and quality standards are achieved.
- Support the management of complaints, incidents and administrative queries in line with company policies.
About You
We’re looking for someone who has:
- Previous administration experience, ideally within a healthcare setting.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Experience using Microsoft Office (SystmOne experience is desirable).
- A proactive, flexible approach and a commitment to delivering excellent patient care.
