We are looking for dedicated Nurse Practitioners and Paramedic Practitioners to join our team at Staffordshire House to help deliver high-quality care as part of our Acute Visiting Service (AVS). This is a new contract that presents an exciting opportunity to play a vital role in providing patient-centred care within an innovative and dynamic team. Working in collaboration with GPs and Advanced Practitioners, you will contribute to the smooth delivery of our services, ensuring the best possible outcomes for patients.
Our AVS service operates during 11.30am to 5pm, Mondays to Fridays, offering flexibility and a great work-life balance. We are looking for a mix of Part Time and Bank.
As a Nurse Practitioner with our team, you will be integral to the success of this contract and the delivery of high-quality care.
Your Day to Day:- Be at the forefront of delivering care in line with contract requirements, providing effective, patient-centred consultations and treatments.
- Use your expertise to assess, diagnose, and treat a wide range of conditions autonomously, while maintaining high standards of clinical competence.
- Work within established clinical guidelines, including PGDs, and make decisions on the best course of action for each patient.
- Refer patients for investigations or specialist care where needed, ensuring their health needs are met at every step.
- Ensure all care is delivered efficiently and in line with best practice, helping to meet both patient and service delivery targets.
- Support contract goals by maintaining a high level of clinical care and meeting operational requirements.
- A Registered Nurse First Level Nurse or other healthcare professional qualifications leading to registration.
- Experience in primary care, urgent care, or first-contact settings, with evidence of strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills.
- Experience working with PGDs or holding a V300 prescribing qualification.
- Previous experience in telephone triage or assessment is an advantage.
- Strong clinical judgement and the ability to make independent decisions that align with contract goals and patient needs.
