Role Purpose
To provide expert mechanical maintenance support across a high-volume production facility, ensuring machinery reliability, minimising downtime, and contributing to ongoing engineering improvements. Core Responsibilities
- Conduct planned, reactive, and preventative maintenance on a wide range of mechanical equipment
- Diagnose mechanical faults quickly and effectively, implementing robust long-term solutions
- Support continuous improvement initiatives, contributing engineering insight to process optimisation
- Maintain and repair steam systems, compressors, pumps, valves, conveyors, and weighing systems
- Produce, modify, and repair components using workshop machinery and fabrication tools
- Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in line with regulatory and internal standards
- Collaborate with production teams to reduce downtime and enhance operational performance
