  • Coordinating external audits, tax compliance, and statutory filings in partnership with advisors.
  • Developing people, structures, and processes within the finance team to drive continuous improvement and clear succession.
  • Partnering with operations and group functions to optimise pricing, cost management, and system scaling.
  • Driving transformation across reporting, controls, ERP, or business intelligence tools.
  • Improving unit economics, pricing models, and cost-to-serve metrics through close operational partnering.

The candidate

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with proven senior finance leadership experience at Finance Director level within a service-led, multi-entity, or contract-based business.
  • Demonstrable track record of leading a finance function and driving transformation across reporting, controls, and systems.
  • A genuine developer of people, skilled at creating a positive, accountable team culture and coaching high performers.
  • Strong appreciation for robust controls, clean audits, reliable cashflow management, and zero-surprise environments.
  • Commercially minded and hands-on, with the ability to balance strategic thinking with rapid execution at pace.
  • Comfortable navigating group reporting requirements, private equity-backed environments, and multi-stakeholder structures.
