As part of this growth, the business is looking to appoint an FP&A Analyst into a newly created role supporting a portfolio of market-leading service businesses. This position will act as the FP&A lead across the portfolio, taking ownership of management information, performance tracking, forecasting, and commercial analysis, while partnering closely with senior stakeholders across the organisation. Key responsibilities:

  • Taking ownership of management accounts reporting processes, including detailed analysis and insightful commentary.
  • Supporting the production of budgets, reforecasts, and ad-hoc financial reporting requirements.
  • Providing commercial analysis to support strategic decision-making across the business, including pipeline opportunities, resourcing, and pricing analysis.
  • Developing and maintaining performance metrics across various business units and service lines.
  • Tracking operational and individual performance indicators to support business performance and accountability.
  • Acting as a key liaison between operating businesses, senior leadership teams, and Group finance functions regarding business performance and reporting.
  • Supporting the Financial Controller with ad-hoc controllership responsibilities, including financial governance, reporting accuracy, and process oversight.
  • Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across reporting, forecasting, financial controls, and commercial finance processes.

The candidate:

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) preferred.

  • Highly analytical with a strong intellectual curiosity and the ability to translate data into meaningful commercial insight.
  • Advanced Excel skills are essential, with previous experience using reporting and visualisation tools such as Power BI considered advantageous.
  • Previous exposure to private equity-backed, professional services environments would be advantageous.
