Partner Financial is collaborating with a dynamic, London-based international media business that is entering an exciting phase of accelerated growth. Backed by substantial investment and a clearly defined strategic roadmap, the company is focused on expanding its presence across key global markets. With content, distribution, and digital innovation at the heart of its strategy, the business is scaling rapidly to meet growing demand.
The successful candidate will work closely with both the Group Reporting Manager and the Group Financial Controller, providing critical support in the preparation, analysis, and delivery of timely and accurate group financial reports. They will demonstrate initiative, reliability, and a proactive approach to problem-solving in a fastâpaced, deadlineâdriven environment.
Key responsibilities:- Performing timely monthly Group consolidations and ensuring adherence to Group accounting policies
- Managing intercompany eliminations and consolidation adjustments
- Taking ownership of acquisition accounting, including purchase price allocations and integration into Group reporting
- Preparing annual consolidated financial statements for the Group, along with statutory accounts for subsidiaries, in compliance with FRS/UK GAAP
- Liaising with external auditors during yearâend audits and ensuring timely delivery of audit requirements
- Owning the preparation and delivery of financial information required by debt providers, including covenant reporting and forecasting
- Maintaining and enhancing Group accounting policies to ensure consistent application across all entities
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory reporting requirements in relevant jurisdictions (e.g., Companies House, HMRC, UK GAAP)
- Driving continuous improvement of consolidation and reporting processes to improve accuracy and reduce close timelines
- Supporting budgeting and forecasting processes in coordination with Group FP&A and finance teams
- Supporting other finance departments with leave cover or during busy show periods
- ACA or ACCA qualified accountant (or equivalent), with a strong academic and professional background.
- Auditâtrained, with handsâon experience in leading group audits and working with private equityâbacked businesses.
- Strong technical accounting expertise, including inâdepth knowledge of IFRS reporting standards and practical experience with acquisition accounting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage confidently with stakeholders at all levels.
- Highly selfâmotivated and organised, capable of managing multiple priorities and meeting tight deadlines with minimal supervision.
