As the business continues to evolve, they are looking to appoint an Interim Finance Director into a high-impact role. This position will play a critical role in leading the transformation of the finance function, with a particular focus on process automation, systems optimisation, and the implementation of AI-driven solutions to enhance reporting, controls, and decision-making capabilities. Key responsibilities:
- Driving efficiency across the month-end close process to reduce cycle times and minimise manual intervention.
- Improving the forecasting cadence and leading the development of the FY27 budget.
- Refining staff cost analysis and headcount reporting to enhance visibility and decision-making.
- Bringing greater rigour and insight to opex reporting, identifying trends and opportunities for cost savings.
- Organising and driving clear, up-to-date documentation of finance processes, procedures, and controls.
- Embedding process documentation and controls as an ongoing discipline across the finance function.
- Coaching the Financial Controller and supporting the build-out and development of the wider finance team.
