Partner Financial is working with a global and market leading E-commerce and hospitality business, who are seeking a Marketing & Finance Business Partner with a focus on working closely with Marketing teams in driving growth. Dedicated to their people-first strategy, the business is entering an exciting period of growth as they aim to unify their brands. This is a hybrid role based in Manchester.
Reporting to the Commercial Finance Director you will be responsible for developing relations and business partnering between Finance and Marketing to drive visibility on the numbers across the function. This is an equally exciting and crucial hire, whereby you will be responsible for advancing company growth and have real input in how the business uses finance and data.
Key responsibilities:- Building robust relationships and remain an advisor to key decision makers, in particular with Marketing, Growth teams.
- Producing and successfully rolling out KPIs across the business to assess performance, outcomes and value add propositions.
- Utilising key metrics and financial data to offer suggestions that support business objectives.
- Owning data sets and utilising financial modelling skillset to create data metrics which can be relayed to business and key individuals.
- Working with relevant teams to monitor and evaluate budget and forecast for marketing resources, tracking, performance and ROI.
- Challenging the status quo and proposing alternative solutions to push progress.
- We anticipate the successful candidate will be a skilled accountant, coming from an e-commerce, consumer, B2C, retail or hospitality background; with hands-on experience in revenue analysis, margin reporting and business partnering, with the following traits:
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
- Background KPI development, financial modelling and merging Marketing / Finance.
- Experience in e-commerce, consumer, B2C, retail or hospitality is advantageous.
- Advanced Excel skills or experience with financial processing tools would be desirable.
- Strong communication skills, proactive and ability to influence non-financial stakeholders.
