Partner Financial is working with a global and market leading hospitality business, who are seeking a Finance Business Partner with a focus on cost reporting. Dedicated to their people-first strategy, the business is entering an exciting period of growth as they aim to unify their brands. This is a hybrid role based in Manchester.
Reporting to the Commercial Finance Director, you will be responsible for cost reporting and overheads, forecasting and budgeting, whilst remaining a reliable advisor to key stakeholders of the business. This is an equally exciting and crucial hire, whereby you will be responsible for the cost base and making key financial decisions that support business objectives.
Key responsibilities:
- Working with the larger Finance, Operational and HR teams to provide detailed analysis, reporting and forecasting to support cost control across the business.
- Partnering with vendors to safeguard spending, cost tracking and manage overall spending.
- Collaborating with management teams for forecasting and budgeting for staff costs, as well as identifying cost trends.
- Remaining involved in headcount budgeting and forecasting, whilst having an input with ROI analysis.
- Leading annual and quarterly budget and forecast for cost element, across the business.
- Creating financial models to support financial and operational objectives across business functions.
- Presenting monthly and quarterly cost data to management and key stakeholders.
- Advocating for system and process improvements for cost reporting element.
The ideal candidate:
- We anticipate the successful candidate will be a skilled accountant, coming from an e-commerce, consumer, B2C, retail or hospitality background; with hands-on experience in revenue analysis, margin reporting and business partnering, with the following traits:
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
- Background in cost management, management accounting and business partnering.
- Experience in e-commerce, B2C, retail, or consumer is advantageous.
- Advanced Excel skills or experience with financial processing tools would be desirable.
- Strong communication, proactive and ability to influence non-financial stakeholders.
