Partner Financial is partnering with a high-growth infrastructure business operating across the energy transition sector. The company is delivering large-scale, capital-intensive projects across the UK, with a focus on next-generation infrastructure and sustainable power solutions. Backed by significant investment and led by an experienced leadership team, the business is entering a critical phase of expansion and execution.

With increasing transaction activity and a growing pipeline of debt-financed projects, the business is seeking to appoint a Corporate Finance Associate. This role will focus on supporting debt-related workstreams, including the preparation, review and coordination of financing packs for lenders and other capital providers. The position offers strong exposure to complex infrastructure transactions and direct interaction with senior stakeholders and external advisers.

This role will suit an individual from a Transaction Services or Deal Advisory background, or a similarly transaction-focused environment, with strong exposure to financial analysis and deal execution.

Key responsibilities:

  • Supporting the preparation and review of debt financing packs and lender materials.
  • Assisting in the coordination of due diligence workstreams across financial, commercial and operational areas.
  • Reviewing and analysing financial models to support debt raising and refinancing activities.
  • Producing analysis to support credit committees, lenders and investment decisions.
  • Working closely with advisors, lenders and internal stakeholders throughout transaction processes.
  • Supporting data gathering, financial analysis and validation of key assumptions for financing purposes.
  • Assisting in the preparation of investment committee and board-level materials related to transactions.
  • Supporting scenario analysis and sensitivity testing for debt structures and financing outcomes.
  • Contributing to process improvement across transaction and due diligence workstreams.

The candidate:

  • Background in Transaction Services, Deal Advisory, or similar due diligence-focused role.
  • Strong understanding of financial statements, deal processes and transaction workstreams.
  • Exposure to debt financing, refinancing or infrastructure transactions is highly desirable.
  • Strong analytical and financial modelling skills with attention to detail.
  • Experience working on or supporting financial due diligence (FDD) and/or lender reporting.
  • Confident communicator with ability to work across multiple stakeholders in a deal environment.
  • Proactive, organised and comfortable working to tight transaction timelines.
  • Interest in infrastructure, energy transition or capital-intensive sectors advantageous.
