Interim Commercial Finance Analyst 3-6 months Partner Financial is collaborating with a rapidly expanding consumer business based in Central London. This high-growth business is renowned for its innovative approach to immersive experiences and its commitment to fostering a dynamic, collaborative workplace culture. Working closely with the CFO the successful candidate will provide insightful analysis across revenue and trading performance. This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially astute finance professional who enjoys getting beneath the numbers, understanding the drivers behind performance and turning complex data into clear, actionable insight. Analysing ticket sales, revenue and trading performance, identifying key movements, trends and variances against budget, forecast and prior periods. Investigating the underlying drivers behind fluctuations in ticket sales, including pricing, volume, timing, customer demand, territories, channels, events and other commercial factors. Translating detailed financial and operational data into clear, concise insights and recommendations for the CFO and senior leadership team. Developing and maintaining commercial reporting and dashboards to provide visibility of key revenue and performance metrics. Working closely with commercial, marketing, operations and sales teams to understand business performance and challenge assumptions where appropriate. Supporting the CFO with ad hoc analysis and investigations into areas of underperformance or unexpected movements, providing clear explanations and recommended actions. Analysing customer and sales data to identify trends, opportunities and risks across different experiences, markets and sales channels. Supporting the budgeting and forecasting process, providing robust commercial assumptions and analysis to improve the accuracy of revenue forecasts. Building financial models and scenario analysis to assess the potential impact of pricing, promotional activity, capacity, new experiences and other commercial decisions. Continuously improving the quality, accessibility and relevance of commercial and financial reporting across the business. ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent qualification, with a strong analytical or commercial finance background. Proven experience in a commercial finance, FP&A, business partnering or analytical role within a fast-paced consumer, retail, leisure, hospitality, entertainment or similar environment. Strong analytical and financial modelling skills, with the ability to interrogate large datasets and identify meaningful trends and drivers. Excellent Excel skills, with experience working with financial and operational data; experience with BI tools would be advantageous.
