This is a fixed term programme of two levels, which is operationally focused and will work towards either a permanent managerial or supervisory role dependent on your work experience and which training scheme you are eligible to enter:
- Hospitality Associate Trainee (Food & Beverage)
1 year fixed programme – upon completion of the programme your planned progression would be into a supervisory role, which will be dependant on your progress whilst training and of course your preference of which department to work in. Working across all Food & Beverage facilities you will learn all aspects of food and beverage (Bars, Food, Club, Entertainment & Security). - Hospitality Associate Level II (General)
2 year fixed programme – upon completion your planned progression would be into a supervisory/managerial role. This is of course dependent on your progress whilst training and your preference. Over the 24 months you will experience all areas of our hospitality operations, based on our parks. To enter the level II programme you will need to demonstrate leadership qualities and you must hold a full clean driving licence.
With both of these roles as you will be working in the hospitality industry you will be required to undertake weekend work, with at least one weekend off in four. We are looking for self-motivated and curious individuals who want to learn about the operations of this highly successful business. You must be able to learn and adapt to each department you are based in and conclude each module with a documented report detailing your observations and recommendations.
Duties
- Understand and undertake the duties associated with each role within the department.
- Familiarize yourself with the SOPs associated with the department in which you are working. Work with the Head of Department to review and update the SOP for that area.
- As a level II Associate you will need to undertake the supervision of at least 3 shifts towards the end of each module.
- Handle a number of guest enquiries and complaints with professionalism, striving for resolution that enhances guest experience.
- Identify any areas of growth to; generate sales, save money and/or streamline processes.
- Manage time effectively to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently during busy service periods.
Experience
- Previous experience in a hospitality setting would put you at a distinct advantage; a willingness to learn is key.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact positively with guests and team members alike.
- A proactive attitude towards guest experience, demonstrating a commitment to providing an outstanding experience for all visitors.
- Applicants must hold a full current UK driving license.
