We are recruiting for a skilled Gas Engineer who will be responsible for ensuring that the quality of work provided meets the Company’s high standards and that you maintain a professional and safe working environment. You will provide a high quality and cost‑effective gas system maintenance and repair service to a range of customers across our Parks and company properties.
Main duties will focus on servicing, repairing and installing gas fuel heating systems and other gas appliances.
Location: Building and Maintenance Division
Hours: 40 hours per week with an on‑call rota
Salary: £18.00 per hour
Shift pattern: Monday to Friday 8am – 5pm with a 1 hour lunch break
Role overview:
- Responsible for connecting and commissioning caravan and lodge homes.
- Responsible for carrying out annual gas safety testing and accurately recording and analysing data.
- Undertake the servicing, repairing and maintenance of LPG gas water and heating systems.
- Able to plan and prioritise your own workload from system generated job cards.
- Carry out fault finding and diagnosing breakdowns, maintenance, repairs and remedial works.
- Able to fit full heating systems if required.
- Capable of reacting and re‑prioritising work in the event of emergency and capable of working to tight deadlines.
- Participate in on‑call rota.

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Gas Engineer
- Able to produce right to work documentation (e.g. passport or birth certificate & NI document)
- Able to produce valid driving licence
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to liaise with team members and guests effectively.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Able to produce evidence of recognised qualifications.
