Platform Property Care is looking for an experienced Multi Skill Trades Carpenter based in the Newark area to join our Repairs & Maintenance team. In this mobile role you will carry out carpentry as well as a range of other trades to keep our customers’ homes safe and well maintained.
Responsibilities
- Provide multi-trade repairs and maintenance, with a primary focus on carpentry.
- Deliver work in customers’ homes with professionalism, courtesy and strong customer service skills.
- Plan, organise and keep jobs on track, ensuring work is completed quickly and efficiently.
- Use information technology, including a PDA, Microsoft Office and Outlook email, to manage tasks.
- Support the team and adhere to the company’s DBS policy.
Qualifications and Experience
- Experience working as a Carpenter or Multi-skilled Carpenter.
- Experience delivering multi-trade work.
- Experience working for a Social Landlord, housing association or council.
- Associated trade skills in plumbing, plaster patching, decorating and wall tiling.
- Good organisational and time-management skills.
- Valid current driving licence (mobile role).
- DBS check required.
- NVQ Level 2 in Carpentry (preferred).
