We are looking for an Engineering Manager to play a pivotal role in large-scale technology transformation programmes. This is a long-term, high-impact role aimed at developing a practice at Parser that will work with our clients in adopting modern engineering practices, improving team structures, and enabling their future growth.
You can demonstrate strong technical and people leadership, a commitment to delivering excellent product-based engineering solutions, an ability to understand and coach individuals and whole teams, and have built strong stakeholder relationships. A strong technical background in coding, architecture, and Ops is essential, as well as an ability to understand and analyse team technical and operational performance. While this is a hands-off and stack-agnostic position, the role includes guiding teams in engineering delivery. You should feel very confident in defining the architecture, planning, delivering, and monitoring product-based engineering projects.
Change Strategy & PlanningDefine measurable success criteria focused not only on adoption and process, but on delivering business outcomes that are fit-for-purpose, high-quality, and timely. Align change initiatives with business priorities, product strategy, and customer impact — ensuring that operational transformation directly contributes to measurable value. Serve as a trusted advisor across senior leadership, data/tech leads, and business stakeholders to align on a shared vision and outcomes. Translate strategic ambitions into practical change narratives that resonate at every level, from exec sponsors to engineering squads. Empower teams to embed new practices and mindsets through immersive enablement — including training, playbooks, and coaching. Establish change champions and communities of practice to sustain momentum and ensure behaviours align with strategic goals.
Risk & Impact ManagementIdentify organisational and operational risks early, and proactively design change interventions that minimise disruption and maximise trust. Constantly assess and recalibrate change strategy based on delivery feedback, adoption metrics, and shifting business context. Track business-aligned KPIs such as delivery cycle time, data quality, user satisfaction, and commercial outcomes. Provide leadership with insight and confidence that transformation is not just happening, but delivering clear, measurable business value.
Strong Stakeholder ManagementYou can confidently work with C-level executives, product teams, and engineering leadership to align priorities.
