External Sales Manager

Parry Catering Equipment specializes in the design and manufacture of stainless-steel catering equipment and bespoke fabrications. With over 40 years of experience and operations based in Draycott, Derbyshire, the company emphasises British craftsmanship and agile manufacturing processes to deliver exceptional lead times.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Draycott for an External Sales Manager. The responsibilities include managing and developing relationships with customers, identifying new business opportunities, and providing exceptional customer service. The role also involves contributing to the expansion of the company\’s client base while working closely with internal teams to meet customer needs

Qualifications

• Experience in Sales and New Business Development
• Strong skills in Relationship Building and Customer Service
• Excellent Communication abilities, both verbal and written
• Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Experience in the catering equipment or stainless-steel fabrications related industry is an advantage but not essential as extensive training can be provided.

Key Requirements

Manage and grow a portfolio of existing accounts, achieving, and exceeding sales targets.

Build strong relationships with key decision makers through regular on-site visits (with some overnight stays).

Drive growth by taking business from competitors and ensuring customers order regularly.

Manage key administrative and reporting duties, ensuring everything runs smoothly

Complete customer service tasks and reports to a high standard and within deadlines.

Work closely with the customer service team to achieve shared goals.

• Working Hours – 40 per week (Mon-Fri)
