Job Description
At Blackpool Zoo, we aim to ensure that all of our visitors experience a fantastic day out. It’s not just about the amazing animals, each member of our team plays a part in making this happen.
We are seeking confident, enthusiastic, flexible and motivated Seasonal Summer Catering Assistants aged 16 or over. Experience isn’t necessary but a SMILE is a must.
Seasonal Catering Staff
It’s feeding time at the zoo – Just like our animals, we need to make sure our visitors are fed and watered throughout the day. Whether you’re serving hot meals in the café, or ice-creams on a sunny day, working as part of our Catering team is a diverse and exciting role, where no two days are the same! Your duties might include preparing and serving food, taking deliveries, restocking shelves, clearing tables, pot-washing, and handling money – all while providing exceptional customer service. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy making someone\’s day with great food and friendly service, this role is for you.
We are looking to fill vacancies for Summer positions to cover July and August.
The jobs are seasonal, occasionally weather dependent, with various hours available. We’ll provide full training and uniform (where necessary) and we pay the living wage (dependent on age).
