We are looking for a confident and committed individual to join our team as a Catering Supervisor. This role involves supporting and supervising all catering outlets in a fast-paced environment situated on Bournemouth seafront.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Assisting the Catering Manager with the smooth, efficient, and profitable operation of the catering outlet.
  • Ensuring high product quality and service within the catering outlet.
  • Adhering to all Food Hygiene and Health & Safety regulations.
  • Managing the team of staff when solely on shift.
  • Ordering, preparation, presentation, and delivery of high-quality food.
  • Maintaining appropriate stock levels and cleanliness of the catering outlet.
  • Delivering high levels of customer service.
  • Complying with licensing restrictions regarding alcohol supply and sales.
  • Organising the front counter professionally.
  • Monitoring staff appearance, conduct, efficiency, and welfare.
  • Assisting with the induction and training of new staff members.
  • Handling orders, delivery notes, and invoices.
  • Controlling stock rotation and conducting stock takes.
  • Ensuring accurate cash handling procedures.
  • Handling customer enquiries and complaints positively.
  • Monitoring wastage and implementing control measures.
  • Monitoring refrigerators, freezers, and hot display units.
  • Overseeing cleaning procedures and ensuring compliance with health regulations.
  • Maintaining cleanliness in food preparation and storage areas.
  • Ensuring adherence to the cleaning rota.
