The Process Instrumentation business within Parmley Graham has grown considerably since its conception a few years ago. With a strong team of dedicated personnel pursuing and growing that business, we are now looking for another talented and experienced Internal Process Instrumentation Sales Engineer for our Gateshead office.
This is a national role, and the successful applicant will assist all Parmley Graham branches across the UK with Process Instrumentation Sales enquiries involving Level, Temperature, Pressure, and Flow disciplines.
The successful candidate must be able to interface with customers at all levels and possess the technical and investigative skills to identify process opportunities and drive them to a successful conclusion.
Responsibilities include:- Drawing upon a comprehensive technical knowledge to develop customer solutions and generate new business.
- Specifying Instruments to meet customer Process requirements.
- Generation of accurate and competitive sales quotations to meet customer requirements.
- Directly discussing projects with Plant engineers and our external Process engineers.
- Working efficiently and independently to accomplish company objectives.
- Continuing to study technical and product-related material and practices provided to keep up to date with the latest technology.
- Helping to build close relations with customers and suppliers.
- Comprehensive technical knowledge of the Process Industry and associated products.
- Excellent communication & organisational skills.
- Results-driven and customer-focused.
- Good IT skills are essential.
- Works well in a team.
- Experience in this discipline within the Process manufacturing sector such as Chemical, Oil, Gas, Pharmaceutical, Food and Beverage, will be a big advantage.
