Role overview: We are looking for a proactive and client-focused Adviser Onboarding Consultant to join our growing team. This is a key role responsible for delivering a seamless and engaging onboarding experience for newly signed-up financial adviser firms across the UK. You will act as the primary point of contact for firms during their initial onboarding period with our investment platform, which offers a comprehensive range of financial services products including ISAs, GIAs, and SIPPs. Your mission is to ensure that firms are fully trained and equipped to adopt and maximise our platform’s capabilities. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who understands the UK financial advice landscape and thrives on building strong relationships and delivering first-class training and support.
Responsibilities include:
- Own the onboarding journey for newly signed adviser firms, ensuring a smooth transition onto our platform from day one.
- Deliver a structured training and support programme, tailored to the specific needs of each firm.
- Educate and guide advisers, paraplanners, and administrators on how to use our platform's tools and features to manage ISAs, GIAs, SIPPs and other investment products.
- Host regular onboarding sessions via video call or in person, covering platform navigation, client onboarding, transaction processing, reporting and compliance features.
- Monitor firm engagement and proactively address any training gaps or support issues to promote full adoption.
- Collaborate with internal teams including Distribution, Customer, Operations and Product to ensure a joined-up experience for the firm.
- Provide feedback to Product and Development teams to help improve the onboarding journey and platform usability.
- Maintain accurate records of all onboarding activities and adviser firm progress in CRM systems e.g. Salesforce.
Key Requirements:
- Experience in a financial services or investment platform environment, ideally working with adviser firms.
- Solid understanding of financial products such as ISAs, GIAs, and SIPPs.
- Strong communication and presentation skills – comfortable delivering training remotely and in-person.
- A customer-first mindset with a natural ability to build rapport and influence.
- Organised, self-motivated and capable of managing multiple onboarding journeys at once.
- Understanding of CRM tools, training software and platform technology.
- Knowledge of adviser workflows and back-office systems e.g. Intelliflo, Curo, etc.
