Parmar Staffing is recruiting on behalf of a long established Sussex law firm for a Newly Qualified Property Solicitor or Trainee Solicitor to join their Brighton office.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated legal professional looking to develop their career within residential property law while working closely with an experienced and supportive Head of Department.

The firm is open to considering:

  • Newly Qualified Solicitors
  • Trainee Solicitors nearing qualification
  • Candidates with up to 2 years PQE
  • Candidates with strong residential conveyancing exposure gained during training contracts or legal studies

The business is seeking someone commercially aware, organised and capable of managing files with an increasing level of independence.

The Role

You will be involved in a broad range of residential property matters including:

  • Sales and purchases
  • Freehold and leasehold transactions
  • Transfers of equity
  • Remortgages
  • New build matters
  • Client communication throughout the transaction process
  • Managing files from instruction through to completion
  • Supporting the wider department with business development and client relationship management

What We Are Looking For

  • Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales, Trainee Solicitor nearing qualification, or equivalent legal qualification pathway
  • Experience within residential conveyancing gained through a training contract, paralegal role or qualified position
  • Strong communication and client care skills
  • Ability to manage workloads with increasing autonomy
  • Good organisational and IT skills
  • Positive, professional and team focused approach
