About PKF
The Parliamentary Knowledge Foundation (PKF) gets cross-party groups of parliamentarians face to face with the charities, businesses, frontline services and communities shaping the UK. Through visits, briefings, events and immersive learning.
We are a scale up non-profit operating in Parliament and, following the success of our first year, we're growing fast. Year two sees us launch two new schemes, Health, and Industry & Infrastructure (with an AI focus) alongside Energy & Nature, Wellbeing & Sport and Frontline Services. There has never been a better time to join.
The Role
We're looking for a highly organised, proactive Scheme Manager to own and drive the day-to-day delivery of two Schemes.
It's a role made for someone with sharp organisational instincts, an interest in UK communities, politics and public policy, and a knack for keeping people, diaries and systems moving in a fast-paced and flexible environment.
You’ll work across scheme administration, stakeholder coordination, events, communications and logistics, making sure MPs, partners, speakers and colleagues have what they need, exactly when they need it.
This is a hands‑on experience in a unique organisation, right at the heart of Westminster.
What You Will Do
- Lead two of our 2026/27 Schemes, creating, coordinating and delivering the 10-month programmes alongside MPs, Peers, partners and stakeholders.
- Keep PKF's databases, CRM systems, contact lists and scheme records accurate and up to date.
- Manage communications with parliamentarians, partners, charities and businesses.
- Plan and deliver scheme visits, receptions, events and graduations.
- Run logistics for meetings, briefings, trips and programme activity.
- Track actions, deadlines and follow‑ups across workstreams.
- Prepare materials, briefings, schedules and participant information.
- Pitch in flexibly as we grow. No two weeks look the same.
What We Are Looking For
- You are:
- Organised and detail‑oriented.
- Flexible.
- Proactive, reliable and happy to take ownership.
- Confident with diaries, schedules, databases and CRM systems.
- A clear communicator, in writing and in person.
- Calm juggling competing priorities in a fast‑paced, small‑team environment.
- Professional, discreet and thoughtful with external stakeholders.
Attitude, organisational instinct and a real interest in what we do are critical for us.
What We Offer
- A front‑row seat in and around the Houses of Parliament.
- First‑hand exposure to UK politics, public policy and cross‑party parliamentary work.
- An apolitical, cross‑party role in a supportive, ambitious team.
- Hands‑on experience of events, visits and learning programmes with MPs and Peers.
- The chance to join at a genuine moment of growth, as we double our schemes in year two.
- Mentoring from experienced professionals and the chance to build serious operational and stakeholder‑management skills.
Working Arrangements
Full time, Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week.
Our office is the Palace of Westminster.
Remote working is possible during recess and non‑sitting days.
