The Parliamentary and Health Service Ombudsman (PHSO) is a modern, vibrant organisation full of passionate, committed people. We make final decisions on complaints that have not been resolved by UK Government departments and the NHS in England, working closely with people to understand where, how and why public services sometimes fall short and how to put it right.

Our Facilities Assistant helps keep our offices running smoothly by supporting a safe, functional and welcoming environment for colleagues across our Manchester office.

Responsibilities
  • Provides responsive front-line support for all facilities, accommodation and basic ICT-related enquiries, whether raised via phone, self-service or in person.
  • Coordinates maintenance activity, supports office moves and reorganisations, and helps ensure health and safety requirements and risk assessments are consistently met.
  • Manages office supplies, liaises with suppliers, maintains asset records and helps develop local operating procedures to keep services consistent.
Qualifications
  • Hold an IOSH qualification.
  • Have a working knowledge of Health and Safety.
  • Have experience working within a facilities environment.
