The Sales & Marketing Manager position is a key position in the Company. Carrying out continuous customer and staff relations services, the position provides the post holder with a genuinely rewarding experience and provides a springboard to a leisure management career in one of the most attractive and fast growing leisure management companies. We are seeking an ambitious, commercially driven Sales & Marketing Manager to lead membership growth, drive revenue and enhance the centre’s local presence.

Primary objectives for the Sales & Marketing Manager will be:

  • To promote excellent customer services
  • Driving monthly membership sales targets and KPIs which contribute to the growth of the Fitness membership base
  • Managing the full sales journey from enquiry to retention
  • To work closely with our central marketing team and ensure all centre marketing promotion is clear, simple and up to date maximising any local opportunities or partnership.
  • Building corporate and community partnerships
  • To manage and deliver the social media calendar for the site.
  • To support the Contract manager in achieving the overall budget and revenue targets

Day‑to‑day tasks:

  • Areas of responsibility would include recruitment, rota management, and monthly planning.
  • To ensure that the financial objectives of the department are achieved and the appropriate financial systems and procedures are followed.
  • To produce monthly performance records, statistics, targets and reports.
  • To lead on the marketing and publicity of all activities and events and develop distribution networks for promotional materials.
  • To increase social media engagement through all relevant platforms
  • To manage the review process including Google, Trip Advisor and/or other sites along with responding to clients.
  • To work with any corporate and local partnerships to drive further business into the Centre.
  • To plan and create content for our social media platforms, as well as managing/monitoring our website.
  • To manage the forward planning for all lead generation and outreach activities.
  • Ensure the centre is delivering the KPIs in order to work towards achieving monthly sales targets.
  • To identify, develop and deliver appropriate staff training and development.
  • To undertake any other duties as may be required by the Contract Manager to ensure that the business objectives of the Centre are achieved.

Candidate Qualifications:

As the successful candidate you must be flexible, reliable, and enjoy working as part of a team. You will ideally possess the level three or higher management qualification, have at least 2 years of management experience and be able to demonstrate some experience in the Sales and/or marketing.
