The Role
As a Recreation Assistant, you’ll be at the heart of our centre operations, providing excellent customer service while ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment for all visitors. This is a varied, customer-facing role that involves supporting both wet and dry side activities across the centre.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise pool and leisure areas to ensure customer safety and enjoyment.
- Provide friendly and professional service to all customers.
- Support the Duty Manager in the daily running of the facility.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and secure environment throughout the centre.
- Monitor equipment, storage, and facility security.
- Promote usage of the centre and contribute ideas to increase participation.
- Respond to health and safety issues and follow protocols at all times.
- Undertake other duties as required to support the team.
- Present a positive image of the centre and wear the provided uniform while on duty.
