Overview

This is a Remote Position.

An Integration Engineer to lead the design, implementation and management of solutions connecting various software applications, systems, and data sources to ensure seamless data flow and interoperability. Working with both internal and external development teams to integrate software solutions, automate processes and troubleshoot integration-related issues. This role is to drive Parkwood Ecosystem, to become more connected and expand the Parkwood digital footprint to its customers and clients.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement integration solutions: Develop and implement solutions that connect different software platforms and systems, using APIs, middleware, and other technologies.
  • Oversee the maintenance of API connections, working with suppliers to ensure they are robust and meeting business needs.
  • Monitor and improve the performance of third-party APIs, including downtime, bugs and speed.
  • Develop and implement the architecture of a digital ecosystem, including the selection and integration of digital tools and platforms.
  • Work end-to-end on digital projects, from scoping through design, build, testing and deployment.
  • Identify opportunities for digital-driven commercial growth.

Website Platform

  • Collaborate with a headless CMS (e.g., Magnolia) to integrate the platform and the systems used within the wider Parkwood Ecosystem.
  • Cover Website Manager responsibilities when on leave, supporting day-to-day management.
  • Coordinate with Parkwood’s WordPress websites where integrations with used systems exist.

Data Mapping And Transformation

  • Design and implement data mapping and transformation processes to ensure compatibility between systems.
  • Establish and maintain data management strategies, ensuring data quality, accessibility, and compliance with requirements.
  • Support database migration and site mobilisations.

Apps Platform

  • Act as the product owner for our customer-facing app and help lead its ongoing development.
  • Lead the growth of Parkwood’s Apps to support business objectives.
  • Manage the relationship between our app provider and the business.
  • Oversee the end-to-end management of our customer apps.

Testing And Debugging

  • Conduct thorough testing to identify and resolve issues during the integration process, including data flows, communication protocols, and system behaviour.

Troubleshooting And Support

  • Provide troubleshooting and support for integration-related problems after implementation.
  • Coordinate with third-party software companies to ensure thorough testing and issue resolution.

Stakeholder Management

  • Collaborate with development, operations and other teams to understand requirements, provide insights, and ensure successful integration.
  • Manage third parties to keep projects on track.

Documentation

  • Maintain comprehensive documentation for integration processes, configurations, and custom code.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
  • Experience working with multiple systems in complex organisations, integrated through APIs.
  • Understanding of data management principles, including data storage, governance, and data quality.
  • Experience with CMS platforms and Apps.
  • A proven track record of completing digital projects.
  • Ability to adapt to new technologies and changing business needs.
  • Good communication skills with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Project management skills using agile methodologies and the ability to meet deadlines.
