As our Apprentice Lifeguard, you will learn everything you need to know to ensure the safety of all swimmers. When you aren’t on poolside, you will assist with a wide range of activities such as safety checks, assisting customers with their needs, and generally ensuring that you help maintain a comfortable and safe environment for our customers at all times. This is a full-time position and flexibility is essential as shifts will include evenings and weekends.
What you will do:
- You will be a role model to other swimmers.
- You will have the opportunity to learn additional valuable skills within the Leisure Centre including sales, customer service, effective communication, building workplace confidence, and improving your lifesaving abilities.
- Your responsibilities include supervising a wide variety of swimming sessions and maintaining the Centre’s high standards of health.
