Rufford Mill at Rufford Abbey Country Park

This is an outstanding career opportunity with a market leader committed to providing a diverse and meaningful range of leisure and culture-related activities for the local communities in which we serve.

Rufford Country Park is a beautiful country park in Nottinghamshire, steeped in history, we are seeking an innovative, committed individual to lead the Operations team at the park and build upon the successes already implemented since Parkwood Leisure took over the contract in 2017.

Reporting to the Wedding & Events Sales Manager, The post holder will be responsible for all the coordination of corporate events and weddings in the Mill Venue, as well as taking incoming enquiries. To conduct client meetings and liaise with the Food & Beverage Department to ensure all weddings and events are catered for and service and quality of food is delivered to the highest standards

What you will be doing:

  • To act as the main point of contact for showrounds and site visits
  • To ensure all customers receive excellent customer service throughout the enquiry, sales and booking interaction.
  • To review, implement and manage processes and procedures to ensure all necessary colleagues have the correct information to enable the successful operational delivery of each event
  • Maintain administration of bookings in the wedding/events calendar
  • Working evening, weekend as required for the business, predominantly based around the booking of events.
  • To ensure all Health & Safety procedures and responsibilities are carried out at all times
  • To undertake any other duties as may be required to ensure that the business objectives of the contract are achieved
