The Opportunity

We now have an opportunity for an experienced maintenance handyperson to join the contract maintenance team at our Cherwell site in Spiceball. In this role you will be ultimately responsible for the Maintenance of the site. The successful applicant will need to be self motivated, enthusiastic and outgoing with previous maintenance experience. You will be responsible for completing planned, routine, breakdown and reactive maintenance across the site. This will include basic building maintenance, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting and decorating as well as work in the swimming pool plant rooms.

The Person

  • It is imperative that you are flexible to work variable day or night shifts on any day of the week to suit business demands.
  • You will be asked to work as part of the team as well as being able to take your own initiative and work individually.
  • This is a very demanding role and we are looking for someone who has a great eye for attention to detail and who takes pride in their work.
  • Experience of working in occupied properties.
  • Skill sets should include electrical, carpentry, plumbing and painting and decorating and must cover all disciplines.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • Good computer literacy skills.
