Overview: Work outdoors and contribute to the maintenance of open spaces and the care of green spaces.
Responsibilities: Duties will include hedge trimming, clearing leaves, shrub bed maintenance, sweeping, garden clearance and litter as required.
- Previous knowledge of grounds maintenance skills and horticulture is desirable; training will be provided.
- Previous experience of handheld machinery is desirable.
- Proficient in operating walk-behind and ride-on grass mowers, strimmers, blowers, and petrol-driven hedge cutters.
- Operate with a full, clean UK driving licence.
- Reliable and conscientious with a can-do attitude.
- Willingness to learn and to work on one’s own initiative.
- Previous experience of grounds maintenance work and horticultural tasks.
- Willingness to undertake police accreditation and DBS reference check.
- PA1 & PA6 preferred but not essential.
- Willingness to comply with clients’ health and safety requirements.
