Full Time Permanent Role - 39 hours per week, Annual Average:

  • Summer Season (March - September): 7am-4.30pm Monday to Thursday and 7am-3.30pm Friday
  • Winter Season (October - February): 7.30am-3pm Monday to Thursday and 7.30am-2pm Friday

The person: Street and green spaces cleansing experience is desirable but not essential as full training will be given. Applicants must be reliable and conscientious, have a can-do attitude and willingness to learn. Possessing the ability to work as part of a team and on one's own initiative. Flexible and willing to work a seasonal, rotational shift pattern, including weekends. A keen eye for detail. A Full UK Driving Licence is essential.

The Opportunity: The role requires working outdoors and encompasses many different areas, from litter picking, emptying bins, graffiti removal, to ad-hoc assignments across the East Herts. Key duties also include:

  • Carrying out groundsman duties.
  • Conducting park inspections and reporting any issues.
  • Driving company vehicles and towing trailers as required.
  • Adhering to all Health and Safety procedures.
