Qualifications & Experience
- Experience in grounds maintenance.
- Good people management skills.
- Adaptable to different working techniques with a strong work ethic.
- Experience using a wide variety of small engine machinery.
- Good IT knowledge.
- Full, clean driving licence.
- PA1 & PA6 certification is desirable.
- Knowledge of relevant health & safety legislation.
- Reliability, conscientiousness, and ability to work on own initiative.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Supervisor and Senior Team Leaders in effective delivery of programmed maintenance.
- Take responsibility for works on site, including timekeeping, productivity arrangements for breaks, and dealing with members of the public, visitors, and deliveries.
- Proactively lead by example, motivate and guide the team, and maintain workforce discipline.
- Operate and ensure others operate company and hire vehicles, machinery and equipment with care; carry out daily checks and routine servicing, properly recorded.
- Undertake other duties as may be reasonably required by the Supervisor.
