Education& Qualifications
Essential:
- Be willing and able to obtain a Level 2Certificate in Food Safety through the school within 6 weeks of beginningwork in the position.
- Be willing and able to obtain Allergen andFood Safety Training through the school within 6 weeks of beginning work inthe position.
Desirable:
- Hold a current, level 2 Certificate infood safety
- Have had allergen and Food Safety Training
Knowledge& Experience
Essential:
- Understand the basic principles of FoodSafety and Health and Safety
- Have experience in a similar position inthe kitchen of a public organisation or commercial company
Desirable:
- Know current legislation relating to foodpreparation and nutritional standards in schools
Skills &Abilities
Essential:
- Have good communication skills
