The predicted salary is between 25560 - 31240 £ per year.

We are seeking a kind and caring teaching assistant to join our friendly, committed team.

Our ideal candidate is a good communicator and is able to work collaboratively to help children become independent, resilient, and aspirational learners.

While this role will initially be based in Year 4, you’ll be able to work across different year groups, providing both 1:1 and group support.

You will work hand-in-hand with our teachers to create a warm, inclusive environment where every child feels they belong and can thrive.

  • Working under the direction of a class teacher, the main duties include:
  • Providing essential support and contributing to the nurturing and development of young learners.
  • Fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment where children can explore, play, and learn safely.
  • Supporting individual children in their learning journeys, including those with special educational needs.
  • Assisting with the preparation and delivery of age-appropriate activities to help children reach their full potential.
  • Promoting good behaviour and social development, setting a positive example for the children.
  • Maintaining a clean and organised classroom environment conducive to learning and creativity.
  • Collaborating with staff and parents/carers to ensure the best possible outcomes for every child.
  • Establishing supportive, caring and secure relationships with the children.
  • Contributing to monitoring and recording pupil progress and providing feedback to teachers.

  • Good written and verbal communication skills
