Park Vets is a large, well‑established hospital renowned for delivering gold‑standard care through our friendly, dedicated team of vets, nurses, and VCA’s. We pride ourselves on being a busy, fast‑paced practice with a diverse case load, specialising in inpatient care, medicine, orthopaedics, soft tissue and laparoscopic surgery, advanced imaging, ophthalmology, dentistry, and exotic animal care. We’re a proud Cat Friendly Gold Practice accredited by ISFM, and hold Silver Rabbit Friendly status, reflecting our commitment to exceptional care across all species.
Our in‑house departments include client care, bookings, finance, insurance, and laboratory services, ensuring a seamless experience for both patients and their owners. Out‑of‑hours care is expertly provided by Vets Now, who are based on‑site from 6pm to 9am. Parkvets Veterinary Hospital is based in Foots Cray within the London Borough of Bexley offering 24/7 care to their loyal clients. We have a large enthusiastic and friendly team including a dedicated Veterinary Care Assistant team, client care team, insurance team, bookings team and lab team. We have a huge variety of equipment including and offer a variety of specialist disciplines including ultrasound, radiography, orthopaedic surgery, laparoscopic surgery, ophthalmology, internal medicine and exotics, supported by a variety of certificate holders within our veterinary team.
How You’ll Make a Difference
As a Registered Veterinary Nurse, you will be an integral member of the clinical team, delivering high-quality nursing care to patients while supporting excellent client experiences. You’ll work collaboratively with veterinary surgeons and the wider practice team, taking responsibility for the nursing care of a range of first opinion cases, contributing to clinical standards, and supporting the ongoing development of patient care within the practice. This is a full‑time, 40‑hour working week with varied shifts between 7am and 8:30pm. Weekend rotation: 1 in 4 weekends worked, with lieu days offered. Shared second on‑call rota with the nursing team, focused on inpatient care when needed.
General responsibilities include the opportunity to work across all departments including surgery, prep, clinics, outpatients, and kennels (with the support of our dedicated kennel nursing team).
