About the Role

Parkside Recruitment is seeking an experienced Senior Engineer (Electrical) to join a leading consultancy in Haywards Heath. You will be responsible for designing, managing, and supervising electrical engineering projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client requirements. You will also lead design teams, coordinate with other engineering disciplines, and oversee project delivery from concept to completion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, manage, and supervise electrical engineering projects.
  • Lead project teams, ensuring timely and high-quality deliverables.
  • Develop design concepts, specifications, reports, and budget estimates.
  • Coordinate with other disciplines to produce integrated designs.
  • Oversee project progress, financials, and design variations.
  • Maintain strong client relationships and identify new business opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance with CDM regulations, QA systems, and health & safety procedures.
  • Support the development of company specifications and best practices.

Requirements

  • 7 to 10 years' experience in electrical engineering within building services.
  • Professional membership (Associate Engineer, working towards Chartered status preferred).
  • Strong understanding of industry standards, legislation, and client objectives.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
  • Ability to develop and implement best practices in design, QA, and health & safety.
