We are looking for an Ocean Freight Specialist in the Purfleet Thurrock area Key Responsibilities Manage end-to-end ocean freight import and export shipments. Coordinate Full Container Load (FCL) movements. Manage cross-trade shipments Prepare and manage shipping and customs documentation. Ensure shipments are processed accurately and within required deadlines. Handle customs entries and ensure compliance with relevant customs requirements. Skills & Experience Previous experience within ocean freight / sea freight forwarding. knowledge of import and export procedures. Proven experience with FCL shipments. Experience managing cross-trade freight. Good understanding of customs procedures and documentation. Experience using freight forwarding and customs systems, ideally one of the following: Destin8 CargoWise e-Customs NES Strong organisational and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple shipments and priorities in a fast-paced environment. Excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
