We’re looking for a Print Finisher / Slitting Operative to join our team at a well-established and growing flexible packaging business in Normanton. If you’ve got experience in manufacturing and enjoy working in a hands-on, fast-paced environment, this could be a great next step. You’ll play a key part in our secondary print operations, working across machinery in conversion to produce high-quality products that meet customer specifications.

The Role

  • Operating machinery safely and efficiently within H&S guidelines
  • Monitoring output and quality, spotting and rejecting any defects
  • Making adjustments to maintain product quality and performance
  • Carrying out QA checks and recording accurate results
  • Keeping machine waste and rejects to a minimum
  • Recording adjustments and production data within our systems
  • Troubleshooting issues and taking corrective action when needed

Working hours

  • Week 1: 3 days (6:00am – 6:15pm)
  • Week 2: 3 nights (6:00pm – 6:15am)
  • Week 3: 2 days & 2 nights
