Overview My client are looking for a Management Accountant to join their busy team in Egham. They are looking for some one Part Qualified (CIMA or ACCA) with experience, office based paying £40-43Kpa.Responsibilities Management Reporting, Analysis & CommunicationProduce all regular monthly management accounts [MACs] for QA review by the GFCSimplify & improve MACs format, content, and processBenchmarking analyses of [Top 20] supplier base, cost base, store performanceAd hoc & Value Added analyses to identify profit improvement & cost savingReactivate 6-monthly & annual analyses previously produced, now dormantAttend various meetings, on behalf of GFC + / or AFC [e.g. JP meetings]MI continuous improvement; eg Interpretation & Variance comments for all entitiesSSAF for all entitiesIdentify material inconsistency of bookkeeping treatment across entitiesAutomation, Efficiency, Pace, Accuracy, User-friendliness, RelevanceEPOS MI development: Learn routines & frequency for all existing EPOS MI [to be able to deputise for AFC if / where needed]Assist AFC in development & deployment of GP enhancing MI and analysisFurther analyses as prioritised and required by GFCBudgeting, Planning and ControlPreparation of draft Budgets for all entities within the Group, working with the Budget holders to agree planned spendReview and control of spend against budgetsSupport, maintenance & development of key excel files: Weekly Sales report, New store maintenance, JP changes, landlord changes, Year End graphs and input tab creation for new financial yearFishkeeper Limited billing spreadsheetMACs reporting filesQuarterly turnover rent calculationsFixed Asset Register files [& cleanse data per Capex Accounting policy]Quarterly Accruals & Prepayments schedules (working with Bookkeepers)Annual Roll forward of Store MACsBudget model maintenance and roll forwardFinancial accountingFirst port of call for RSM information queries, specifically Analytical Review questions such as \’why has turnover dropped in store X?\’Maintain appropriate back up documentationIncorporation of RSM Audit Journals into MA Sage package, plus refreshing all monthly MACs to correctly reflect the changesTechnical accounting: first contact to resolve technical issues and advise bookkeepersIntercompany matrix review – ensure all intercompany accounts agree across the group monthly (currently done annually only)Formal record maintenance: Company secretarial, Equity accounts, Transfer pricingMaintain Company secretarial & Profit Share recordsDraft production of Partner Equity statements, for DR QA and swifter issue / timetableEnsure transfer pricing agreements from Fishkeeper Limited up to dateQualifications and Experience Part-Qualified Accountant [CIMA or ACCA]Advanced skills in ExcelKnowledge of SageKnowledge of EPOSPersonal Qualities Confident, Good communicator, Team playerCritical thinker, change agent looking for continuous improvementSelf-motivated, keen to learn, commercial mindsetAbility to work on own initiative, AnalyticalOrganised, Hits deadlines, Flexible approach to workAttention to detail
