The PR & Marketing Manager will be responsible for strengthening the organisation’s brand profile, expanding its network of strategic partners and delivering high-impact PR and marketing activity across the hotel portfolio. Reporting to the Head of Marketing, the role will support the development and delivery of PR strategies, marketing campaigns, media activity and commercial partnerships. This will include building relationships with journalists, influencers, agencies and brand partners, securing coverage, creating compelling content and delivering campaigns that increase awareness, engagement and revenue. The successful candidate will also support the wider day-to-day activity of the Marketing team.

Salary and Package

£80,000 per annum. Performance-related bonus of up to 20%. Comprehensive employee benefits package.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, deliver and monitor PR, partnership and marketing campaigns across multiple channels.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists, media contacts, influencers, agencies and commercial partners.
  • Identify PR opportunities, brand collaborations and partnerships that increase awareness, engagement or revenue.
  • Manage press enquiries, media requests and interview opportunities.
  • Draft and distribute press releases, media pitches, announcements, blogs and other marketing content.
  • Secure positive editorial coverage across relevant consumer, travel, lifestyle, hospitality and trade media.
  • Negotiate partnership agreements, contra arrangements and commercial collaborations.
  • Coordinate and attend press events, launches, influencer stays, media visits and partnership activations.
  • Represent the organisation professionally at industry events, launches and partner meetings.
  • Work closely with the wider Marketing team to develop and execute integrated campaigns.
  • Support the creation of engaging content for digital, social, print and editorial channels.
  • Monitor consumer trends, media coverage and campaign performance, adjusting strategies where required.
  • Develop creative PR and marketing concepts that strengthen the visibility and commercial profile of the hotel portfolio.
  • Produce regular reports on media coverage, campaign outcomes, partnership activity and return on investment.
  • Ensure PR, partnership and marketing initiatives remain aligned with wider brand and commercial objectives.
  • Follow company policies and contribute to the organisation’s social and environmental commitments.
  • Participate in relevant company events, conferences, training sessions and annual meetings.

Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in public relations, marketing, communications, business or a related discipline.
  • At least three years’ experience within PR, marketing, partnerships or a closely related role.
  • Previous experience within hospitality, hotels, travel, leisure or luxury brands would be advantageous.
  • Demonstrable experience managing successful PR campaigns, media relationships and brand partnerships.
  • Strong network of relevant media, influencer or industry contacts would be beneficial.
  • Proven ability to identify and secure press coverage and commercial opportunities.
  • Strong commercial awareness and an understanding of how PR activity supports revenue and wider business objectives.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong copywriting, proofreading and content creation abilities.
  • Creative approach to campaign planning, storytelling and brand development.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage several projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Confident working under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proactive, energetic and comfortable working independently.
  • Previous experience managing or supervising employees would be beneficial.
  • Understanding of project management principles would be advantageous.
  • Basic knowledge of website content management and digital design would be beneficial.
  • Strong Excel skills and confidence working with analytical and reporting tools.

Working Conditions

  • Full-time position based across a portfolio of London hotels and central office locations.
  • Predominantly office-based, with flexibility required around campaign deadlines and business priorities.
  • Regular collaboration with hotel operational teams, media contacts, agencies, influencers and external partners.
  • Some evening or out-of-hours work may be required for press events, launches and partner entertainment.
