Are you experienced in logistics, shipping, import/export or supply chain operations and looking for a varied role where you can take ownership of orders from start to finish?

We are recruiting for an established international export business based in Northwood, looking for an organised and proactive Logistics & Operations Coordinator to join their team. This is a hands-on role where you'll coordinate customer orders, suppliers, freight forwarders and deliveries, ensuring everything runs smoothly from initial order through to completion.

What you'll be doing:

  • Managing customer orders from start to finish
  • Coordinating shipments and deliveries
  • Liaising with multiple suppliers and freight forwarders
  • Managing relationships with approximately 10–11 suppliers
  • Monitoring orders and ensuring deadlines are met
  • Resolving supplier, shipment and delivery issues
  • Maintaining accurate logistics and order documentation
  • Supporting international import/export operations
  • Creating and processing customer invoices
  • Completing basic daily bookkeeping
  • Keeping internal systems and records accurate and up to date
  • Providing wider operational and administrative support when required

What we're looking for:

You’ll ideally have previous experience within:

  • Logistics or shipping
  • Import/export
  • Supply chain
  • Order processing
  • Operations coordination
  • Freight or distribution
  • Supplier/vendor management

You’ll need to be highly organised, confident managing multiple priorities and comfortable working with different IT systems. Experience using Xero, Sage, ERP systems or similar software would be beneficial, but specific system experience isn't essential if you're confident learning new software.

The details:

  • Salary: £32,000
  • Location: Northwood, HA6
  • Contract: Permanent
  • Hours: Monday–Friday, 37.5 hours per week between 8:00am–5:00pm
  • Working pattern: Fully office-based
  • Start: ASAP

There may occasionally be travel to sites in Watford and Cricklewood, typically once or twice per month or less. This would be an excellent opportunity for an experienced Logistics Coordinator, Shipping Coordinator, Import/Export Coordinator, Supply Chain Administrator or Operations Coordinator who enjoys variety and wants to be involved across the full operational process.
