Looking for a permanent finance role with a genuine three-day working week? We're recruiting a Finance Assistant to join an established Finance team in Heston. This is a hands-on role with a focus on employee expenses and Credit Control, ideal for someone with solid finance experience who enjoys taking ownership, investigating discrepancies and resolving queries.
What you'll be doing
- Managing employee expenses and company credit card transactions, including checking receipts, coding and reconciliations.
- Chasing missing documentation and approvals, investigating discrepancies and preparing expense reports.
- Supporting Credit Control, including chasing overdue payments, reconciling customer accounts and allocating receipts.
- Investigating invoice queries and processing corrections and credit notes.
- Maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the wider Finance team.
What we're looking for
- Previous experience in a Finance Assistant, Accounts Assistant, Accounts Payable or similar role.
- Hands-on employee expenses experience, including company credit cards.
- Some Credit Control or customer ledger experience.
- Good accounting knowledge, Excel skills and attention to detail.
- A confident communicator who can work independently and see queries through to resolution.
- AAT or equivalent experience would be advantageous.
The working pattern Wednesday-Friday | 9.00am-5.30pm | 22.5 hours per week
