We are recruiting for an exceptional Head of Health & Safety & Security to join a luxury hospitality group with a portfolio of iconic London properties. This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of the Health & Safety and Security function across multiple high-profile locations, ensuring the highest standards of compliance, safety, and guest security.

The Role
Reporting into senior leadership, you will be responsible for developing and implementing Health & Safety and Security strategies across a portfolio of luxury hotels. You'll ensure compliance with all UK legislation while supporting operational teams to provide a safe environment for guests, employees, contractors, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the Health & Safety and Security function across multiple London properties.
- Ensure full compliance with UK Health & Safety legislation, fire regulations, and licensing requirements.
- Develop, review, and implement Health & Safety policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Manage internal and external audits, inspections, and compliance programmes.
- Conduct risk assessments across all sites and ensure appropriate control measures are implemented.
- Investigate accidents and incidents, carrying out root cause analysis and implementing preventative actions.
- Oversee emergency planning, evacuation procedures, and business continuity plans.
- Manage physical security including CCTV, access control systems, and contracted security providers.
- Build strong relationships with local authorities, emergency services, and external stakeholders.
- Deliver Health & Safety and fire safety training across the business.
- Monitor incident trends and produce reports for senior leadership.
- Support hotels during emergency situations and major incidents when required.
About You
We are looking for an experienced Health & Safety professional who has worked within a multi-site environment, ideally within hospitality, hotels, leisure, or a customer-facing operation. You'll be confident influencing stakeholders at every level and passionate about creating safe, compliant, and secure environments.

- Proven experience in a senior Health & Safety leadership role across multiple sites.
- Strong understanding of UK Health & Safety legislation and compliance.
- Experience managing audits, inspections, and risk assessments.
- Excellent investigation, reporting, and analytical skills.
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management experience.
- Ability to deliver engaging training and presentations.
- Calm, professional, and confident under pressure.
- Experience overseeing CCTV, access control systems, and security operations.
Qualifications
- NEBOSH Diploma (Level 6) or equivalent (essential)
- First Aid at Work qualification
