Our international client requires an experienced Distribution Coordinator to join their team for a minimum period of 9 months.
Key responsibilities:
- Overview: This Studios Distribution team is looking for a bright and motivated distribution coordinator to work in the EMEA Team in London. Studios Distribution oversees the licensing of our client's Studio titles, as well as new releases and library movies and series, to broadcasters and platforms. The distribution coordinators are the primary point of contact and information flow to and from a variety of teams, clients, and partners to the distribution group, and the successful candidate will be responsible for supporting distribution executives in their efforts to source, evaluate, and administer new licensing opportunities across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. This small team of distribution coordinators works together on a very high number of deals and shares workload when priorities demand additional support - a commitment to teamwork is essential.
- Running content availability reports using the rights management system.
- Managing the creation of content presentations and facilitation of screening materials for clients.
- Work with the research department and use a rights management system to pull data reports to help executives evaluate licensing opportunities.
- Requesting rights clearances and preparing documentation for deal approval submissions.
- Contribute to updating of shared team resources and tools such as client contact database.
- Coordinate meeting diaries at International markets and events incl. MIPCOM and LA Screenings.
- Participate in ad-hoc process improvement projects.
Basic Qualifications:
- 2+ years' experience working in a Film, TV or Media environment.
- Bachelor's Degree or commensurable experience.
- Confident and skilled in using Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly structured, organized, and detail-oriented.
- Very proactive & customer-centric attitude.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience working in a Film and/or TV distribution environment.
- Experience with Salesforce and/or other rights management systems.
Duration: Minimum period of 9 Months
