A client of mine is currently recruiting for an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer to join their team covering rail locations across the C2C line and Greater Anglia routes.
The Role
- Covering C2C and Greater Anglia rail locations (predominantly)
- Must be prepared to attend any location during working hours
- Door-to-door working day
- Working independently across multiple sites
Requirements
- Must hold valid FGAS certification
- Minimum 4 years’ experience as an AC Engineer
- Full UK driving licence
- All qualifications will be checked and verified
- Must be willing to undergo Drugs & Alcohol testing during face-to-face interview process
Salary
Up to £40,000 depending on experience and role level

Callout & Overtime
- Contractual callout: 1 in 4 weeks (currently operating closer to 1 in 6 – flexibility required)
- Callout hours: 17:30 – 08:00 for 7 consecutive days
- Standby payment: £125 per week
- Minimum 4 hours paid per callout attended
- Overtime Rates:
- x1.5 – Monday to Friday 17:30–08:00 & Saturday 08:00–14:00
- x2 – Saturday 14:00 through to Monday 08:00
