Our client based in Bristol is looking for a Warehouse operative to join their team. They are looking for a reliable, safety-conscious individual with a positive attitude, strong attention to detail, and a willingness to learn.
Salary: £29,000 plus shift allowance
37.5 hours per week
1-hour unpaid break per shift
Rotating Mon-Fri shift pattern:
- Early Shift: 05:00 – 13:30
- Late Shift: 10:30 – 19:00
The successful candidate will be trained to operate X-ray equipment as part of their duties. Due to the nature of this work, applicants must not be colour blind.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle and process our customers' commodity within timeframes stated by the company
- Be a team member
- Comply with present Health & Safety legislation
- Good timekeeping and agreeable to shift patterns
- Carry out all special instructions as noted on paperwork
- Ensure all documentation is completed as per requirements
- Comply with local legislative requirements & company policies and procedures
- Knowledge of warehouse scanning systems
- Attention to detail
- Must be physically fit and able to handball loose cargo
- Basic computer / Android device knowledge
Key Skills, Experience & Requirements:
- FLT licence
- ADR / Hazardous awareness (preferable)
- Warehouse experience
- Knowledge of H&S legislation
- 5-year work history
- CRB
