Our well-known client based in Luton is seeking a Transport Coordinator to join their dynamic Motorsports Logistics Team and be part of one of the most thrilling sectors in transportation - international motorsport logistics. This is an excellent opportunity for someone enthusiastic, detail-oriented, and eager to begin a career in logistics. You will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of our Motorsport Planners. There will also be European travel expected for at least 4 European races a year.
Key Responsibilities Of The Role Includes:
- Coordinate and book UK domestic transport on behalf of the Motorsport planning team.
- Liaise directly with hauliers and our Planning Team to ensure timely vehicle movements.
- Book ferry crossings for European routes and support international transport activities.
- Assist with the preparation of transport documentation, including GMR, CMR, and Carnets, ensuring compliance with customs and Motorsport event requirements.
- Ensure tachograph data from drivers is captured and stored in line with regulatory compliance.
- Provide general administrative support to the transport operations team.
- Assist with maintaining accurate records and databases as required.
