Join a Leading Advanced Materials Organisation. Parkside Recruitment are currently seeking a Senior Ceramics Process Engineer for a cutting-edge R&D facility in Staffordshire. This is a unique opportunity to lead innovative projects across the nuclear, aerospace, and defence sectors.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead and deliver high-impact R&D projects (1–24 months)
- Collaborate with commercial teams to define technical scope and goals
- Develop ceramic materials and manufacturing processes (slurry, dough, pressing, sintering, etc.)
- Provide technical expertise in ceramics processing and best practices
- Mentor junior engineers and scientists
- Deliver client presentations and consultancy services
- Create technical documentation, reports, and training materials
- Represent the company at industry events and conferences
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years in materials science or advanced ceramics
- Strong knowledge of ceramics processing and forming methods
- Proven track record leading R&D programmes
- Commercially aware and confident in client-facing roles
- Excellent communication and mentoring skills
- Eligible for UK security clearance
